Point to Point Destinations and West Coast Timeshare Ltd. ("Point to Point") takes the issue of safeguarding your privacy very seriously. Our Privacy Policy has been created in order to let you know what information we collect from potential and current members as well as visitors to our website and the way in which Point to Point uses this information to better serve the needs of our members. We apply the requirements of this law to how we handle all Personal Information wherever received, and each property managed by Point to Point complies with the local privacy laws of the jurisdiction where it is located.

The Personal Information Protection Act (the “Act”) regulates the way private sector organizations within British Columbia collect, use, keep, secure and disclose personal information. “Personal Information” means all information about an identifiable individual. It can include, among other things, your name, address, age, gender, personal financial history and social insurance number.

We collect personal information in the following circumstances:

Promotions and Contests
We put on numerous promotions and contests on an ongoing basis with other companies (“Promotion Partners”) in order to get greater awareness of Point to Point in the marketplace. In order to run these promotions, we collect Personal Information that will allow us to contact you if you win or alternately for us or our promotion partner to contact you at a later date in order to inform you about our products or services or those of our Promotion Partners. On our ballots used for promotions, we will ask you certain demographic information in order to determine your suitability for our memberships. This information will only be used internally or shared with the Promotion Partners indicated in the rules governing the promotion or contest. If you are put on one of our contact lists, you may ask to be removed from it at any time.

Taking a Tour at a Sales Centre
If you decide that you would like to take a tour at one of our sales centres, we will ask you for certain personal and general financial or demographic information in order to ensure that you are a qualified candidate for membership. We will use this information to make this determination and may make this information available to our Promotion Partners if we have received prior consent from you. Your transmittal of your Personal Information shall constitute your acknowledgment and agreement to the terms and conditions contained in this Privacy Policy.

If You Become a Member
If you become a member of Point to Point, we will collect personal, financial and membership usage information about you in order to fulfill our legal and accounting requirements and to improve our product for your enjoyment. When you stay at any of our properties, or any property participating in the RCI exchange program, we record information regarding your stay for our purposes in analyzing our business as well as to comply with financial reporting requirements, including those imposed by our auditors and government regulators. We may also collect certain information as required by local laws. We may retain the content of any document (including comment cards, electronic documents such as e-mails and other similar forms of communication) that you send us while you are a member. This information may be shared with employees of Point to Point but will not be shared with any third party. Your transmittal of your Personal Information shall constitute your acknowledgment and agreement to the terms and conditions contained in this Privacy Policy.

Web Site
When you visit our web site, we may place what is called a "cookie", on your computer and assign it an ID number. A cookie is a file that is placed on your computer for the purposes of tracking an individual user's preferences and certain technical information such as your IP address and browser type. A cookie is a commonly used device that is capable of enhancing your visit to the site. The cookies used by us do not contain any personally identifying information nor do they track visitors after they have left our web site. Our cookies will also collect web site data in aggregate form (such as the number of visitors to a particular site). HOW WE STORE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Point to Point has put numerous systems in place to ensure that all Personal Information is kept in a secure location, whether it is in digital or hard copy. We also put systems in place to ensure that only designated individuals have access to this information. We store information about our members in our membership information system in order to serve you better. Our membership information system is a secure customer database stored on a dedicated server located in a data centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. This information includes personal, financial and membership related information, including information about your stays at our properties.

OUR REASONS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect personal information for the following reasons:

To Assess Credit. In order to process new memberships and offer financing programs to our Members, we need to collect certain financial and legal information about our members. We use this information only for our internal business purposes and, except for our financiers or bankers, will not sell, exchange or transfer this information to third parties. We may also report your payment history to a credit reporting agency.

To Provide Better Service to our Members. Information collected from the use of your membership allows us to constantly monitor and improve the services offered to you as well as to identify new services that can be offered to our members.

To Advise Members and Potential Members of Offers and Promotions. We may use the information collected to advise you of promotions or offers that may be of interest to you. In order to provide you with this information we may engage third party service contractors and provide them with this information. These companies must agree to be contractually bound that they will not sell, rent, exchange or in any way transfer the information. You may inform us at any time that you do not want to receive further information by sending an email to memberservices@ptpdestinations.com.

For Market Research. We collect and analyze member Information on an aggregate basis in order to gain a better understanding of the expectations of our members. For all market research, all personal identifiers are removed so that the aggregate information cannot be linked to specific guests.

Changes to Privacy Policy
If we change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on our web site (www.ptpdestinations.com). Changes will not apply to Personal Information collected prior to the date of the change for which you have given consent, except as may be required by law. If we decide to use Personal Information in a different way than our current Privacy Policy, we will notify you by letter or e-mail sent to your last known address. If you do not agree with the different way we intend to use Personal Information, you may ask in writing that we not use it in that different way. If you do not object, you will be deemed to have consented to the use of your Personal Information in the different manner.
